Certified CPD Affiliate Programme
Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 1 September 2026
These Affiliate Programme Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern participation in the Certified CPD Affiliate Programme (“Programme”). By applying to or participating in the Programme, you agree to these Terms.
In these Terms, “Certified CPD”, “we”, “us” and “our” refers to Certified CPD, registered in England and Wales under company number 15146554. “Affiliate”, “you” and “your” refers to an approved participant in the Programme.
1The Programme
The Programme enables approved affiliates to promote eligible Certified CPD online courses and earn commission on qualifying sales made through their unique affiliate link.
Participation is free. Approval is at our discretion, and we may decline an application where the proposed promotional activity, audience or online presence is not aligned with our brand, values or audience.
2Commission
Approved affiliates will earn 15% commission on each qualifying sale successfully tracked through their unique affiliate link.
A qualifying sale is a completed, paid purchase of an eligible Certified CPD course that:
- is made through a correctly tracked affiliate link;
- is not cancelled, refunded, charged back or found to be fraudulent;
- complies with these Terms and any applicable promotion rules; and
- is not otherwise excluded by us or by the affiliate platform.
Commission is calculated on the amount actually paid by the customer, excluding VAT, delivery charges where applicable, refunds, chargebacks and any other non-course fees.
Unless we confirm otherwise in writing, commission does not apply to:
- free course enrolments;
- refunded, cancelled or charged-back purchases;
- fraudulent, self-generated or artificially generated transactions;
- purchases made using unapproved discount codes or promotions;
- corporate, LMS, white-label, accreditation, consultancy or bespoke training agreements; or
- any product or service specifically marked as non-commissionable.
We may amend commission rates for future sales by giving reasonable notice through the affiliate dashboard or by email. Any change will not affect commission already earned on qualifying sales.
3Cookie Duration and Tracking
Our standard affiliate tracking window is 60 days.
Where a prospective customer clicks your unique affiliate link and completes a qualifying purchase within 60 days, the sale may be attributed to you, subject to successful tracking by our affiliate platform.
Cookies can be deleted, blocked or overwritten by the customer’s browser settings or later activity. Where more than one affiliate refers the same customer, the affiliate platform’s attribution rules will determine which affiliate receives commission. Certified CPD cannot guarantee tracking where cookies, tracking links or third-party systems are unavailable, blocked or altered.
You are responsible for checking that you are using your correct, current affiliate links.
4Payments
Commission is paid monthly for approved qualifying sales from the preceding month, subject to a minimum payout balance of £50.
Where your approved commission balance is below £50, it will roll over to the following payment period until the minimum threshold is reached.
Payments are made by bank transfer to the bank account details held in your affiliate dashboard or otherwise provided to us. You are responsible for ensuring that your payment details are accurate and up to date.
We may withhold or reverse commission where a sale is refunded, cancelled, charged back, fraudulent, incorrectly tracked or found to breach these Terms. We may also delay payment while we investigate suspected breaches, fraud or unusual activity.
You are responsible for declaring and paying any tax, duty, levy or other liability arising from commission payments in your country of residence or operation.
5Permitted Promotion
You may promote Certified CPD through professional and lawful channels, including:
- your website, blog or resource pages;
- email communications to recipients who have agreed to receive them;
- organic social media content;
- paid social media advertising;
- paid digital advertising;
- video, podcast, webinar or editorial content; and
- other channels approved by Certified CPD.
All promotion must be honest, accurate, relevant and consistent with applicable laws, advertising standards and platform rules.
“This post contains affiliate links. If you purchase through my link, I may earn a commission at no extra cost to you.”
6Paid Advertising and Prohibited Activity
Paid advertising is permitted provided it is professional, accurate and compliant with these Terms.
You must not:
- bid on or purchase the keywords “Certified CPD”, “CertifiedCPD”, “Certified CPD courses”, or close variations, misspellings or branded terms in paid search advertising;
- use Certified CPD’s name, logo or branding in a domain name, social media handle, paid-ad display URL or account name without written approval;
- create an advert, page or account that could reasonably appear to be owned, operated or endorsed by Certified CPD when it is not;
- use misleading, exaggerated or unsubstantiated claims, including claims that a course guarantees employment, promotion, salary increases, professional registration, visa eligibility or any other outcome;
- send spam, unsolicited bulk email, unsolicited direct messages or other communications that breach privacy or electronic-marketing laws;
- use pop-ups, browser extensions, cookie stuffing, forced clicks, misleading redirects, fake reviews or other deceptive techniques;
- create false accounts, make purchases through your own link, encourage others to make artificial purchases, or generate fraudulent clicks or transactions;
- promote unapproved discounts, vouchers, cashback offers or coupon codes;
- misrepresent course accreditation, certification, course outcomes, duration, price, availability or eligibility;
- alter Certified CPD logos, images, course materials or marketing assets without prior written permission; or
- publish content that is unlawful, discriminatory, defamatory, offensive or likely to damage Certified CPD’s reputation.
7Brand and Intellectual Property
Certified CPD grants approved affiliates a limited, non-exclusive, revocable and non-transferable licence to use approved Certified CPD marketing materials solely to promote eligible courses under this Programme.
All intellectual-property rights in the Certified CPD name, logos, websites, course content, images, videos, marketing materials and other assets remain with Certified CPD or its licensors.
You must not modify our materials without written approval, register rights in them, or use them for any purpose outside this Programme.
8Affiliate Responsibilities
You confirm that:
- the information in your application and affiliate dashboard is accurate and current;
- you have the right to operate the channels through which you promote Certified CPD;
- your activity complies with all applicable laws, including advertising, consumer-protection, privacy and data-protection requirements;
- you will maintain appropriate disclosures regarding affiliate links; and
- you will promptly provide reasonable information about your promotional methods if requested by Certified CPD.
9Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate your participation in the Programme at any time, with or without notice, where we reasonably believe that you have breached these Terms, engaged in fraud, damaged our reputation, provided inaccurate information or acted unlawfully.
On termination, you must immediately stop using affiliate links and Certified CPD marketing materials.
Commission properly earned before termination may be paid in the normal payment cycle, provided there has been no breach of these Terms. Any unpaid commission connected with fraud, prohibited activity, refunds, chargebacks or material breach may be withheld or forfeited.
10No Employment or Partnership
Participation in the Programme does not create an employment relationship, agency, franchise, joint venture or legal partnership between you and Certified CPD. You have no authority to make representations, commitments or contracts on behalf of Certified CPD.
11Limitation of Liability
We do not guarantee any minimum level of traffic, sales, commission or income through the Programme.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Certified CPD will not be liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profits, loss of business, loss of data, loss of goodwill or interruption to the affiliate platform.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
12Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be published on this page and will apply from the stated effective date. Continued participation in the Programme after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
13Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from or connected with these Terms.
